March 2012 at Molly’s Café

Spring is coming! This is how we will get into March at Molly’s Café.

Sat. Mar. 3   9 to 11 pm Sicilian and Mediterranean music by Acqui Cavuri (Kavi, Alessandro, Eleonora and Hasan). If you missed them last time, this is a good opportunity to hear lively folk music from our neighbours. 10 lira for the music.

 

 

 

Sat. Mar. 10  9 to 11 pm Ali Agca and Yesim Pekiner. Come and listen to the mellow jazz presented by these two accomplished musicians. Ali is a master guitarist and Yesim has a wonderful voice. A great combination! 10 lira for the music.

 

Sat. March 17  4:30 pm Poetry with Mel Kenne, Richard Tillinghast, Christopher Sawyer-Laucanno, and John Ash. Come to listen to the master poets. Free.

 

 

 

Sat. March 17  7:30 pm   Ah, begorrah, we’ll celebrate St. Patrick’s Day with an Irish meal: Irish stew, Irish soda bread, and Irish apple cake, among other things. 35 lira, reservation only.

 

 

 

 

 

Fri. March 23   7:30 pm   Sat. March 17 Customers have been asking for this for quite a while, so the time has come. Homemade hamburgers with all the fixin’s, along with oven fries. coleslaw, and dessert. All for 35 lira, reservation only.
